Massachusetts School Psychology Association (MSPA)  Bilingual School Psychologist Meet-up

MSPA’s Diversity Committee will be hosting a Bilingual School Psychologists Meet-up.  As the Chair of the Diversity Committee, I cordially invite you to attend this Meet-up.  

We are all aware of many of the questions and concerns regarding our work with multilingual students, but we don’t all have the answers.  The purpose of this Meetup is to be a resource to each other.  We will meet to discuss our questions and concerns which may include appropriate evaluation tools, eligibility to receive special education services, and support for General Education.  We will then work on coming up with any next steps as to how we want to address the complex issues associated with our increasingly diverse school population.  

The MSPA Board meeting will be held right after this meet-up and you are all invited to attend.  Light refreshments will be held for the meet-up.  Dinner is served for all people who plan to stay for the MSPA Board Meeting.

We look forward to seeing as many of you that can make it. I know that it is Election Day, so please vote early and come join us for a great discussion.  We can’t do it without you.
